Officers are elected from current members of the NWMLS board
Frank Leach, designated broker and owner of RE/MAX Platinum Services in Silverdale and team leader of the Frank Leach Group, was elected as the 2024 chairperson of the board. He served as vice chairperson of the NWMLS board in 2023.
Other members who were elected to officer positions on the board of directors include:
- David Maider as vice chairperson – Windermere Real Estate M2 LLC – Everett
- Nicole Bascomb as treasurer – Bascomb Real Estate Group – Kent
- Jill Himlie as secretary – Windermere Real Estate/Himlie – Shelton
- Jeff Pust as immediate past chairperson – Van Dorm Realty, Inc. – Olympia

Chairperson Leach is a retired Navy Diving and Salvage officer and longtime resident of the Kitsap Peninsula. He previously served on the Real Estate Advisory Committee for Seafirst & Bank of America, served as a director at the Kitsap Community Foundation and is chairman of the board for Land Title Company of Kitsap. He has been involved in real estate brokerage, land use and development and construction management for over 40 years. Leach has been recognized as Businessperson of the Year, Realtor of the Year and Broker Owner of the Year; most recently he was awarded the Blaine Highfield Professional Integrity Award by the Kitsap County Association of Realtors (KCAR) in recognition of integrity, service and ethics in the Realtor community. Leach is in the 2023 NAR (RPAC) Hall of Fame, holds an NAR Emeritus Award and recently received the Emeritus Award from the Kitsap Community Foundation.
Vice chairperson Maider begins his fourth term on the NWMLS board. He is the owner and designated broker at Windermere Real Estate/M2, LLC, and has served for 31 years in the real estate industry in King and Snohomish counties. Maider is actively involved in the Windermere Foundation as well as other Snohomish County-based charities and has served as past chairman of the Windermere Snohomish County Standards of Practice.
Treasurer Bascomb is the owner and designated broker for Bascomb Real Estate Group in Kent and previously served on the NWMLS board as secretary. She has worked in the banking and finance industry for over 30 years. Bascomb has served as a commissioner of the Washington State Housing Finance Commission since 2021 and was appointed its chairperson in August 2023.
Secretary Himlie is the designated broker/owner of Windermere Shelton, possessing ABR, SRES and CRB certifications and designations. She is a charter member and secretary of Salish Sea Rotary and has served as a board member for both the Shelton Mason County Chamber and the Mason County Association of Realtors (MCAR).
Immediate past chairperson Pust has worked in the real estate industry for over 35 years and is the designated broker/owner of Van Dorm Realty in Olympia. His industry service includes chairing the Olympic Multiple Listing Service in Thurston County prior to its joining NWMLS in 2007. He was also an alternate member on the Thurston County Board of Equalization.
